Two-day national consultation meeting with the Key affected population.
RENEW in partnership with UNFPA in Bhutan conducted two-day national consultation meeting with the Key affected population to identify the issues faced by them in terms of gender-based violence and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), and to develop a plan of action to address the issues. The meeting was conducted at Metta Resort, Paro.
The main objectives of the meeting are to:-
●Understand barriers to accessing SRH services among Key affected populations.
● Understand sexual reproductive health needs and related policies.
● Contribute to the policy dialogue on focusing national programs on the SRH needs of the key affected populations.
●To form and promote partnership and explore modalities for meaningful engagement and Peer-led SRHR and GBV preventive initiatives among the key affected populations.
The closing of the meeting was graced by the Executive Director of RENEW.
