The Nuns of Thegchog Kunzang Choedron Nunnery

The Nuns of Thegchog Kunzang Choedron Nunnery at Khardung, Trashigang, successfully completed an awareness program on “Lifeskills and Domestic Violence /Gender based violence”.

This is a roll out program for religious bodies, which was earlier conducted by RENEW and Choedey Lhentshog. The nuns of khardung were participants of LSE (Life skill education) Trainers of Trainers organized by Choedhey Lhentshog at Trashiyangtse.

Total of 30 participants attended the sessions at Khardung gompa. they learnt about how one can manage to lead a productive life with “10 core Life skills” and learnt about child abuse, sexual harassment and violence at Home.
