The Druk Adolescent’s Initiative on Sexual Awareness Network (DAISAN) is a youth volunteer network founded in 2011. It is an all youth group, initiated and managed entirely by the RENEW youth volunteers. DAISAN focuses on issues relevant to both male and female youth aged 24 and under. Thereby capturing interests and needs of those through secondary school and beyond. The core objectives of DAISAN are to spread rights and awareness of sexual and reproductive health; to promote gender equality; to advocate against DBV/DV; to encourage meaningful participation; and to strengthen youth-adult partnerships.
