Commemorating 70th Birth Anniversary of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo.

To mark the 70th Birth Anniversary of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo, RENEW (Respect, Educate, Nurture and Empower Women), formally launched the Academy for Counselling and Social Work Advancement yesterday.

The institute is approved by the BQPCA as a continued education provider to develop skills and knowledge of counseling professionals and social workers. The institute was inaugurated by Her Majesty Gyalyum Sangay Choden Wangchuck together with ECU Vice-Chancellor Professor Clare Pollock.

As outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between RENEW and Edith Cowan University (ECU) in 2023, the training centre will receive support from ECU.
