The mental health and psychosocial facilitator training (MHPSF) is a 30-hour clock training for all frontline helpers such as social workers, counselors, community-based helper, health workers, teachers, etc. The training program is a community centered program that aims to reduce the gap between mental health care needs and resources around the community and complement existing care recourses to increase mental health services for underserved and never-served communities. The program trains people outside the field of mental health in basic helping and referral skills to increase service capacity for meeting global mental health needs through the local community.
